I recently purchased a used 2004 Audi A4 and have been having intermittent issues. Every other time I start the car the windows, horn, wipers, etc don't work. Every once in a while I'll get an audible beep and they'll start working in transit but this is not often. Any idea what it might be (relay, ignition switch, etc.). Thank you. The front driver window one touch does not work but does roll up and down, the passenger front window will roll up and down but the one touch is hit or miss, neither rear window will work from the master switch. The front driver side window started going up and down, getting stuck, and not responding. It turned out that the window regulator was broken and needed to be replaced. try this,put the key in door and unlock/hold over key.windows will go down,then lock/hold over,windows will go up.this resets the windows auto trap mech.(kids fingers)if you still have a problem also try using silicon spray on the runners.NOT THE GLASS..
